My son's question on government

     My concerns runs from trivial things, to somethings that is impersonal but affects me personally and my country generally. So sometimes this might make you a little bored. But never the less i would try to make this blog site as simple and as truthful as can be.
     Yesterday my son was doing his homework. As always he would come to me and ask me questions directly
from his textbook ( a habit he develop to finish his homework without a sweat ). It's all about government and the private sectors, their respective roles and how do they interact with each other. So in order to let him think for himself,  for every question he gave me i throw him a couple and give him an illustration. This  process somehow lessen my answering to his queries and let him think of what the subject he is studying is all about.
      "Would it be right to let the public sector run our educational system independent of government control?", a question post to me by my son.
       My questions: What is the primary motive of  business enterprise?
                             Who created the government?
                             For whom the government is created?
                             For what purpose is the government created?
                             For whom the government must served?
        And give him an illustration that goes like this;
                             In a house there lived eight man. They share a common bathroom. Each man is independent of each other and have their own activities and work to do. So, sometimes they are fighting each other on who will use the bathroom first when they are all in need of it.
     Then ask my son, What do you think they would do to solve this situation?
     His answer is: they will make rules that will govern their conduct concerning the use of bathroom.
     Good!, i said. But consider this:
                             So the eight man posted on the wall the guidelines they have draft concerning the use of bathroom. But the guidelines in the wall were only quoted and never been followed. Because of well reasoned out thought on the each side. What do you think they would do then.
     My son answered me, to appoint among them an enforcer.
    Good, I said. That is how the government begun( at least in the concept of democracy ).
